Angelika Dyadchenko, received her Master’s Degree in Choral Conducting from California State University, of Sacramento, where she also served as Graduate Assistant, teaching choirs, private voice, and musicianship lessons. She received the K-12 Vocal and Instrumental Teaching Credentials, and the Bachelor’s of Music Education Degree, Piano Performance emphasis.
Angelika has been awarded the prestigious “Excellence in Music Education” award from the California Music Educators Association, and named an "Outstanding Educator" for her exemplary teaching at RJUHSD. In 2015, Angelika was awarded the "Artistic Engagement Award", from the California Legislature Assembly at the California State Capitol. As the result of scholastic and artistic excellence, Angelika has been inducted in to the National Music Honor Society, Pi Kappa Lambada. She is also the recipient of numerous scholarships including the Renaissance Society and Professor Norman & Evelyn Castellan Scholarships.
Mrs.Dyadchenko has taught elementary through college age students, and has been on staff with San Juan Unified School District, Roseville Joint Union High School District, and Placer Unified School District. Most recently, Mrs.Dyadchenko was the director of choral studies, and piano instructor at Granite Bay High School, in Granite Bay, CA. She served and the Principal, and the Vice-Principal at Grace Family Christian School, where she also established the Music Academy. Angelika is recognized for her work at Antelope High School where she established an award-winning vocal program with over 300 students and 7 choirs. Under Angelika’s leadership, her groups continuously earn superior ratings and gold plaques at festivals and competitions. Mrs.Dyadchenko's programs are known for their high standards and excellence in performances in the greater Sacramento area. She has also served as an adjudicator for choral festivals, State honor choirs, and a clinician for music educators at California State University, CA.
In 2005, Angelika founded the Oasis Chamber Choir, a professional-caliber ensemble based in Sacramento, CA and has poured her heart in to the ministry of Oasis Choir for over a decade. She also maintains a voice studio for children-adults, and has recently recorded her first children's CD and several music video clips. Besides teaching at schools, Angelika has been on the staff with Sacramento Youth Symphony’s summer program, Donner Mine Camp, Journey Church, St.Joseph’s Catholic Church, and First Baptist Church, and arranges and composes her music.
Mrs.Dyadchenko is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, National Association for Music Educators, California Music Educators Association, and the California Teachers Association.
